Il progetto Carboluce è un progetto culturale e artistico che ha lo scopo di fare ricerca e promozione di opere visive e cinematografiche autoprodotte, indipendenti e sperimentali. Si pone l’obiettivo di dare rilevanza, visibilità e portare al pubblico opere altrimenti ignorate dai circuiti distributivi tradizionali. Carboluce è un contenitore di un mesmerico, ipnotico, crepuscolare e filosofico cinema della strada. Non ha scopo di lucro. Carboluce vive dentro e fuori dalla rete. Perché Carboluce Carboluce intende promuovere opere grezze, artigianali, autoprodotte, punk, provenienti da una sottocultura altresì̀ detta cultura underground. Ognuna di loro è preziosa a suo modo: come il carbone è materia grezza, povera e fuliginosa, ma di grande valore. Una materia che può scaldare, illuminarsi e diventare pietra preziosa. E come ogni opera filmica, da quando esiste il cinema, non potrebbe mai esistere né́ esprimersi senza la luce. Da qui il nome e il suo simbolo: un pezzo di carbone che splende. |

The project Carboluce is a cultural and artistic project that aims to research and promote self-produced, independent and experimental visual and cinematographic works. It aims to give relevance, visibility and bring to the public works otherwise ignored by traditional distribution circuits. Carboluce is a container of a mesmeric, hypnotic, crepuscular and philosophical street cinema. It is not for profit. Carboluce lives on and off the net.
Why Carboluce Carboluce wants to promote works which are coarse, handcrafted, self-produced, Punk, comng from that mix of subcoltures alternativelly known as Underground Culture. Each work is by its own rigths precious: as Carbon can be coarse humble and full of dust, but also, gratly valuable. Its a material that can warm, light up, and also become a precious stone. And, as any filmic work in the history of cinema, made of light. Here is why its name and logo, a piece of carbon that shines.
